What kind of therapy do you offer?

I work primarily within the framework of Transactional Analysis (TA), a relational and psychodynamic approach that helps you understand how past experiences shape present patterns of thinking, feeling and relating. Alongside this, I draw on creative and expressive methods - storytelling, art, journaling, and imagery - to support deeper exploration and meaning‑making.

What can I expect in our first session?

Our first meeting is a chance to get to know one another and to see whether we feel comfortable working together. We’ll talk a little about what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to achieve and what you might need right now. It’s a space with no pressure or expectation, just time to begin slowing down, noticing, and finding your own pace.

How long will therapy take?

Each person’s journey is unique. Some people come for a short period to focus on a specific concern, while others find that longer‑term work offers space for deeper transformation. We’ll check in regularly to reflect on how the work is unfolding, so it continues to feel supportive and relevant to you.

How often will we meet?

Most people begin with weekly sessions, as this provides a consistent rhythm that supports continuity and trust. Depending on your needs and circumstances, we might adjust this over time. Together, we’ll find a frequency that feels sustainable and fitting for your situation.

Do you work online or in person?

I offer sessions both in person and online, so we can work in the way that best suits your life and comfort level. Some people prefer the calm, grounding presence of the therapy room, while others find that online sessions make therapy more accessible and flexible.

Are the things we talk about confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is at the heart of the therapeutic relationship. What you share stays private, except in situations where I am legally or ethically required to break confidentiality, for instance, if there is serious risk of harm to you or another person. If that ever arose, we would always discuss it together first whenever possible.

How do I know that we're a good fit?

Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. It’s important that you feel at ease and able to be yourself in the therapeutic space. I offer an initial 20 minute phone or Zoom call where you can ask any questions you may have and get a sense of what working together might feel like.

How do I get started?

You simply fill out the contact form with any questions or to arrange an initial call and I will be in touch as soon as possible.
